i want to—someday, when i have time and energy—write a list piece about the asshole things people do to front desk agents (and hotel employees in general). but i am going to put that off for now. because i am exhausted from working all weekend and then going to school today. and more work tomorrow and wednesday. party.
on the bright side, my fiction tutor seems to think i’m a pretty good writer, my 22nd birthday is on friday, our halloween party is on saturday, and i will hopefully be able to hang out with someone awesome tomorrow after work. oh, also, i watched like 5 episodes of that 70s show today when i got home from work, cause my energy was drained and my mood was awful. it super perked me up, like i knew it would. :)
I want a room just for books. I don’t care if they’ll be outdated or whatever, if everything will be digital. I still want my fucking room full of books. With a comfy reading nook, and maybe a nice desk where I can write. Everything will be secondary to my book room. I will probably have the shittiest house ever. EXCEPT FOR THE BOOK ROOM.
Day 23: A book you wanted to read for a long time but still haven't
I really want to read “Juliet, Naked” by Nick Hornby. It’s been out for a few years, but every time I have money for books, I forget that I want it, or they only have it in hardcover, which is often too expensive for me. I also can never find it at the library for some reason.
